Why IB at ISE?

ISE is the only school in Estonia to be dually accredited by the Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. ISE is also the only member of the European Council of International Schools. The International Baccalaureate is the most widely accepted educational program around the world. Over 3600 schools located in 146 countries offer one or more programs. Most international schools in Europe, Asia, and Africa are part of the IB program and a significant number of academically competitive schools in the Americas.

ISE was the first school in Estonia to be authorized as an IB world school and has been teaching the IB curriculum for over 10 years. The ISE staff is highly trained and experienced in the IB, some of who also work for the IB as examiners.

Our experience shows, as our students who go onto other schools are highly successful, whether returning to the United States or attending other international schools around the world. Students who are with us for their final two years of schooling have had a 100% IB Diploma pass rate over the past years, many of which are attending prestigious universities worldwide.

An IB diploma is recognized by more universities worldwide than any other program diploma. It is well documented that students with an IB diploma perform much better in college than their peers.

PYP and MYP students outperform peers on International Schools Assessments and PISA in most grades.
